History
MVC Ocean owes its name to its founder, Maurice VanCaenegem, originally from France.
On the strength of his experience on major diving projects and as an oil rig diver, he launched his business in 1970 in Trois-Rivières.
In 1995, he met diver Yves Bécotte, who would become his associate. After several years as a business partner, Yves took over from Maurice VanCaenegem as the president of MVC Ocean and continued spearheading its growth.
Today, the company has a new set of owners, the third in a proud line. Yan and Kévin Milot took up the torch from Yves in 2014 and they now head operations.
With its team, they look forward to growing the company, inspired by the same philosophy that has made MVC Ocean the last word in underwater work in Eastern Canada.
